The state, the governor, or a member of the authority is not liable in damages to any person in a civil action for any loss incurred as a result of any investment made by a program administrator or fund manager employed by the program administrator.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 150.09
- Authority: means the Ohio venture capital authority created under section 150. See Ohio Code 150.01
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Loss: means a loss incurred with respect to a lender's loan to the program fund. See Ohio Code 150.01
- Person: includes an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, and association. See Ohio Code 1.59
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
