A community school established under this chapter, including an internet- or computer-based community school, may provide career-technical education in the manner prescribed by section 3313.90 of the Revised Code. The community school may contract with any public agency, board, or bureau or with any private individual or firm for the purchase of any career-technical education or vocational rehabilitation service for any student enrolled in the community school and may pay for such services with funds received under section 3317.022 of the Revised Code.

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Internet- or computer-based community school: means a community school established under this chapter in which the enrolled students work primarily from their residences on assignments in nonclassroom-based learning opportunities provided via an internet- or other computer-based instructional method that does not rely on regular classroom instruction or via comprehensive instructional methods that include internet-based, other computer-based, and noncomputer-based learning opportunities unless a student receives career-technical education under section 3314.
