Each science, technology, engineering, and mathematics school established under this chapter is a public school, is part of the state‘s program of education, may contract for any services necessary for the operation of the school, and may continue in operation for as long as the school is in compliance with the provisions of this chapter and with the proposal for its establishment as approved by the STEM committee. If the school closes for any reason, its assets shall be distributed in the manner provided in the proposal for its establishment as required by division (C)(11) of section 3326.03 of the Revised Code.
