Ohio Code 3333.045 – Model for training trustees as to authority and responsibilities
As used in this section, “state university or college” means any state university listed in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code, the northeast Ohio medical university, any community college under Chapter 3354 of the Revised Code, any university branch district under Chapter 3355 of the Revised Code, any technical college under Chapter 3357 of the Revised Code, and any state community college under Chapter 3358 of the Revised Code.

- Fiduciary: A trustee, executor, or administrator.
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
The chancellor of higher education shall work with the attorney general, the auditor of state, and the Ohio ethics commission to develop a model for training members of the boards of trustees of all state universities and colleges regarding the authority and responsibilities of a board of trustees. This model shall include a review of fiduciary responsibilities, ethics, and fiscal management. Use of this model by members of boards of trustees shall be voluntary.
