The Ohio arts council may call upon any department or agency of the state government for information, advice, or assistance in its work. It shall coordinate its efforts with those of other agencies engaged in any similar activities.

- Arts: includes but is not necessarily limited to literature, theater, music, the dance, painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, and motion pictures. See Ohio Code 3379.01
- Council: means the Ohio arts council created by section 3379. See Ohio Code 3379.01
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
