Moneys in the funds of a convention facilities authority, except as otherwise provided in any resolution authorizing the issuance of its convention facilities authority bonds and notes or in any trust agreement securing the same, in excess of current needs, may be invested in notes, bonds, or other obligations of the United States or any agency or instrumentality of the United States, or in obligations of this state or any political subdivision of this state. Income from all such investments of moneys in any fund shall be credited among funds as the authority determines, subject to the provisions of any such resolution or trust agreement, and such investments may be sold at such time as the authority determines.

Terms Used In Ohio Code 351.20

  • Bonds and notes: means convention facilities authority revenue bonds and convention facilities authority tax anticipation bonds. See Ohio Code 351.01
  • Convention facilities authority: means a body corporate and politic created pursuant to section 351. See Ohio Code 351.01
  • facilities: means any convention, entertainment, or sports facility, or combination of them, located within the territory of the convention facilities authority, together with all hotels, parking facilities, walkways, and other auxiliary facilities, real and personal property, property rights, easements and interests that may be appropriate for, or used in connection with, the operation of the facility. See Ohio Code 351.01
  • state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
  • United States: includes all the states. See Ohio Code 1.59
