(A) Notwithstanding the requirements, contained in division (A) of section 3743.17 of the Revised Code, that the state fire marshal only issue the license of a wholesaler of fireworks on the first day of December and that the license is effective for one year, an applicant who applies pursuant to section 3743.151 of the Revised Code, and who meets the requirements for licensure contained in section 3743.16 of the Revised Code, shall be issued the license of a wholesaler of fireworks on January 1, 2023.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 3743.171
- Fireworks: means any composition or device prepared for the purpose of producing a visible or an audible effect by combustion, deflagration, or detonation, except ordinary matches and except as provided in section 3743. See Ohio Code 3743.01
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
(B) A license issued pursuant to division (A) of this section shall be effective through November 30, 2023.
