Whenever in the judgment of the state cosmetology and barber board any individual has engaged in or is about to engage in any acts or practices that constitute a violation of this chapter, or any rule adopted under this chapter, the board may apply to the appropriate court for an order enjoining the acts or practices, and upon a showing by the board that the individual has engaged in the acts or practices, the court shall grant an injunction, restraining order, or other order as may be appropriate.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 4713.13
- Cosmetology: means the art or practice of embellishment, cleansing, beautification, and styling of hair, wigs, postiches, face, body, or nails. See Ohio Code 4713.01
- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
- Rule: includes regulation. See Ohio Code 1.59
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
