(A) All information filed with a county auditor under this chapter is a public record under section 149.43 of the Revised Code.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 5323.04
- Political subdivision: means a county that has a population of more than two hundred thousand according to the most recent decennial census or a township, municipal corporation, or other body corporate and politic that is located in a county that has a population of more than two hundred thousand according to the most recent decennial census and is responsible for government activities in a geographic area smaller than that of the state. See Ohio Code 5323.01
- Residential rental property: means real property that is located in a county that has a population of more than two hundred thousand according to the most recent decennial census and on which is located one or more dwelling units leased or otherwise rented to tenants solely for residential purposes, or a mobile home park or other permanent or semipermanent site at which lots are leased or otherwise rented to tenants for the parking of a manufactured home, mobile home, or recreational vehicle that is used solely for residential purposes. - state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
(B) An owner of residential rental property who complies with the requirements of this chapter shall be deemed to be in full compliance with any request by the state or any political subdivision to that owner for information that is identical to the information filed with the county auditor under this chapter.
