No person shall exercise, or attempt to exercise, any powers, privileges, or franchises under the person’s document of creation after the document is canceled pursuant to section 5726.40 of the Revised Code. A penalty of one hundred dollars shall be imposed for each day a violation of this section occurs, up to a maximum penalty of five thousand dollars.
Terms Used In Ohio Code 5726.41
- Document of creation: means the articles of incorporation of a corporation, articles of organization of a limited liability company, registration of a foreign limited liability company, certificate of limited partnership, registration of a foreign limited partnership, registration of a domestic or foreign limited liability partnership, or registration of a trade name. - Person: includes an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, and association. See Ohio Code 1.59
