Subject to appeal or vacation within the time allowed by law, an order, made upon notice and hearing, allowing an intermediate accounting of a conservator, is final as to the liabilities of the conservator concerning the matters considered in connection with the intermediate accounting. An order, made upon notice and hearing, allowing a final accounting is final as to all previously unsettled liabilities of the conservator to the protected person or successors relating to the conservatorship. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 125.480
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Conservator: means a person appointed as a conservator under the provisions of this chapter. See Oregon Statutes 125.005
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
- Protected person: means a person for whom a protective order has been entered. See Oregon Statutes 125.005
