(1) Each statement of economic interest required to be filed under ORS § 244.050, 244.060, 244.070 or 244.090, or by rule under ORS § 244.290, and each investment activity statement required to be filed under ORS § 244.055 shall be certified as true by the person required to file it and shall contain a written declaration that the statement is made under the penalties of false swearing.
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 244.110
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Statement of economic interest: means a statement as described by ORS § 244. See Oregon Statutes 244.020
(2) A person may not certify a statement under subsection (1) of this section if the person knows that the statement contains information that is false.
