(1) Any political subdivision in this state, other than a city or county, by resolution may require any public official of the subdivision to file a verified statement of economic interest with the Oregon Government Ethics Commission.
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 244.160
- City: includes any incorporated village or town. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
- Public official: means the First Partner and any person who, when an alleged violation of this chapter occurs, is serving the State of Oregon or any of its political subdivisions or any other public body as defined in ORS § 174. See Oregon Statutes 244.020
- Statement of economic interest: means a statement as described by ORS § 244. See Oregon Statutes 244.020
(2) The political subdivision shall file a copy of the resolution with the commission. [1974 c.72 § 9; 2007 c.865 § 34]
