Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 294.005

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

(1) ‘Warrant’ means a warrant issued by a subdivision.

(2) ‘Subdivision’ means any county, municipal corporation, quasi-municipal corporation, or civil or political subdivision in this state.
