(1) When notice is received under ORS § 30.275 of a claim of professional negligence against a physician, optometrist, dentist, dental hygienist or naturopath who is acting within the scope of employment by a public body or within the scope of duties as defined by ORS § 30.267, the person receiving the notice shall report to the appropriate licensing board, in the same manner as required by ORS § 742.400, the information required by ORS § 742.400 to be reported by insurers.

Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 30.278

  • Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
  • public body: means state government bodies, local government bodies and special government bodies. See Oregon Statutes 174.109
