(1) The receiving community college shall be awarded funds from the contracted out-of-district funds allocated to the Office of Community Colleges and Workforce Development if the college operates the program under a contract with an apprenticeship training committee and the contract is approved by the office.

- community college: means a public institution operated by a community college district for the purposes of providing courses of study limited to not more than two years' full-time attendance and designed to meet the needs of a geographical area by providing educational services, including but not limited to career and technical education programs or lower division collegiate programs. - Community college district: includes a community college service district. See Oregon Statutes 341.005
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
(2) A community college district may submit full-time equivalencies generated by apprenticeship programs to the office for reimbursement from the Community College Support Fund for purposes of ORS § 341.626 but may not submit for reimbursement those full-time equivalencies generated through contracts under subsection (1) of this section.
