Oregon Statutes 381.755 – General provisions
(1) ORS § 381.702 to 381.755 must be liberally construed to effectuate the purposes of the commission, and the powers and authority granted to the commission under ORS § 381.702 to 381.755 are supplemental to all other powers and authorities granted to municipal corporations under the applicable laws described under ORS § 381.745.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
(2) A legal challenge to the formation of a commission intended to be authorized or created under ORS § 381.702 to 381.755 may not be commenced more than 30 days after the effective date of a commission formation agreement. [2022 c.7 § 15]
