The Fire Protection Equipment Loan Fund is established in the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund. All moneys in the Fire Protection Equipment Loan Fund are continuously appropriated to the Department of the State Fire Marshal to carry out the provisions of ORS § 476.900 to 476.925. Interest earned by moneys in the fund shall be credited to the fund. [1991 c.587 § 6; 2021 c.539 § 136]
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 476.925
- Fire protection equipment: means any apparatus, machinery or appliance intended for use by a fire service unit in fire prevention or suppression activities, excepting forest fire protection equipment. See Oregon Statutes 476.005
- State Treasury: includes those financial assets the lawful custody of which are vested in the State Treasurer and the office of the State Treasurer relating to the custody of those financial assets. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
