Justice courts shall have concurrent jurisdiction with the circuit court of all prosecutions arising under ORS § 628.210 to 628.370. The district attorney may institute prosecutions for violations of ORS § 628.210 to 628.370 by information, or the prosecutions may be instituted by indictment or complaint verified before any magistrate.
