The deposit mentioned in ORS § 709.030 is primarily liable for the malfeasance of a trust company as a fiduciary and is not liable for any debt or other obligation of the company until such malfeasance liability has been discharged. [Amended by 1973 c.797 § 186; 1997 c.631 § 206]
