In any action to enforce any right created by ORS § 746.405 to 746.530, the prevailing party may be awarded a reasonable amount, to be fixed by the court, as attorney fees. The amount may be taxed as part of the cost of the action and any appeal thereon. [1983 c.239 § 6]
Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 746.530
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
