An authorized inspector shall be compensated by the company employing him or her, and the fee provided for in § 23-33-12 shall not be collected by any authorized inspector.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 23-33-7
- Authorized inspector: means an inspector of elevators employed by (i) an insurance company, or making inspection for an insurance company, or (ii) any person, firm, or corporation engaged in the business of inspecting elevators, to whom, under the provisions of this chapter, a permit is issued either as a result of an examination or because of experience and fitness, as determined by the chief of the division of occupational safety.
