In any proceeding pursuant to this chapter the commission, its member, or its agent shall not be bound by the rules of evidence prevailing in the courts.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 28-5-21
- Commission: means the Rhode Island commission against discrimination created by this chapter. See Rhode Island General Laws 28-5-6
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
