- Board: means the South Carolina Manufactured Housing Board. See South Carolina Code 40-29-20
- Freedom of Information Act: A federal law that mandates that all the records created and kept by federal agencies in the executive branch of government must be open for public inspection and copying. Investigations conducted under the provisions of this chapter are confidential and all communications are privileged as provided for in § 40-1-190. However, upon completion of the investigation, the findings of the board are subject to disclosure in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act.
