- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
Following the hearing, the county board shall, by resolution, make a finding as to whether and to what extent bonds of the special purpose district shall be issued, and may thereupon authorize the commission of such special purpose district to issue bonds to the extent it shall have found necessary. In the event that the county board shall require an election under § 6-11-890 as a condition to the issuance of general obligation bonds by such special purpose district, then the provisions of § 6-11-870 and 6-11-880 of this article shall not be applicable.
