Terms Used In Tennessee Code 47-18-1802
- Attorney general: means the attorney general and reporter, or the attorney general and reporter's designee. See Tennessee Code 47-18-1802
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Food: means any nourishing substance intended to be eaten by human beings. See Tennessee Code 47-18-1802
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Person: means a natural person, individual, governmental agency, partnership, corporation, trust, estate, incorporated or unincorporated association, and any other legal or commercial entity however organized. See Tennessee Code 47-18-1802
- Reporter: Makes a record of court proceedings and prepares a transcript, and also publishes the court's opinions or decisions (in the courts of appeals).
