Terms Used In Tennessee Code 47-18-2205
- Consumer: means any renter, purchaser, or subscriber of goods or services from a video tape service provider or video tape seller. See Tennessee Code 47-18-2203
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Person: means a natural person, consumer, individual, governmental agency, partnership, corporation, trust, estate, incorporated or unincorporated association, and any other legal or commercial entity however organized. See Tennessee Code 47-18-2102
Any person found to be in violation of this part shall be liable to the aggrieved consumer for all actual damages sustained by such consumer as a result of the violation.
