Terms Used In Tennessee Code 67-4-2601
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of revenue. See Tennessee Code 67-4-2601
- Escrow: Money given to a third party to be held for payment until certain conditions are met.
- Participating manufacturer: has the meaning given that term in Section II(jj) of the master settlement agreement and all amendments thereto. See Tennessee Code 67-4-2601
- Person: includes a corporation, firm, company or association. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.
