Such public auction shall be at the place of holding the circuit court in the county where said land is situated respectively, within 90 days after the time fixed for purchasers and settlers to file claims as provided in the foregoing sections. The said commissioner shall give at least 3 weeks’ notice of such sale by publishing a notice thereof in at least 1 and not more than 2 newspapers published in such county, stating the time and place such sale is to commence and the descriptions of the lands to be offered in and for sale in such county.
