(a) If the bonds were approved at an election ordered before April 27, 1965, the county may issue general obligation bonds to finance:
(1) the erection, maintenance, expansion, and repair of a building authorized by § 1473.172; and
(2) the acquisition of a site and equipment for the building.
(b) The commissioners court shall issue any bonds under this subchapter in compliance with the applicable provisions of Subtitles A and C.
