Terms Used In Texas Labor Code 314.001
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In this chapter, “qualified applicant” means a person who made less than $40 per hour at the person’s last employment before becoming unemployed.
