As used in this part, unless the context otherwise requires:
Terms Used In Tennessee Code 12-2-402
- Commission: means the procurement commission. See Tennessee Code 12-2-402
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of general services. See Tennessee Code 12-2-402
- Personal property: All property that is not real property.
- Personal property: includes money, goods, chattels, things in action, and evidences of debt. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- property: means every species of state property which is not either:
(A) Real property, the disposal of which is subject to this title, governing the disposal of state real property. See Tennessee Code 12-2-402 - Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
- real property: include lands, tenements and hereditaments, and all rights thereto and interests therein, equitable as well as legal. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
