Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-26-202
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of commerce and insurance. See Tennessee Code 56-1-102
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Employees: includes the officers, managers and employees of the employer, the individual proprietor or partner if the employer is an individual proprietor or partnership, the officers, managers and employees of subsidiary or affiliated corporations, and the individual proprietors, partners and employees of individuals and firms, if the business of the employer and the individual or firm is under common control through stock ownership, contract, or otherwise. - Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- Insured: as used in this chapter , shall not be construed as preventing a person other than the insured with a proper insurable interest from making application for, and owning a policy covering the insured, or from being entitled under such a policy to any indemnities, benefits and rights provided in the policy. See Tennessee Code 56-26-112
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
- written: includes printing, typewriting, engraving, lithography, and any other mode of representing words and letters. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
