Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-26-201
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Employees: includes the officers, managers and employees of the employer, the individual proprietor or partner if the employer is an individual proprietor or partnership, the officers, managers and employees of subsidiary or affiliated corporations, and the individual proprietors, partners and employees of individuals and firms, if the business of the employer and the individual or firm is under common control through stock ownership, contract, or otherwise. - Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
