(1) Pursuant to a plan approved under this chapter, an agricultural cooperative association may merge or consolidate with:

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
(1)(a) one or more agricultural cooperative associations;
(1)(b) one or more domestic corporations governed by:
(1)(b)(ii) Title 16, Chapter 6a, Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act; or
(1)(c) any combination of associations or corporations referred to in Subsection (1)(a) or (b).
(2) The surviving or new corporation shall be governed by:
