Utah Code 35A-16-201. Office of Homeless Services

(1) The Office of Homeless Services is under the direction of the state homelessness coordinator appointed under Section 63J-4-202.

Coordinator: means the state homelessness coordinator appointed under Section 63J-4-202. See Utah Code 35A-16-102
Executive director: means the executive director of the department appointed under Section 35A-1-201. See Utah Code 35A-1-102
Office: means the Office of Homeless Services. See Utah Code 35A-16-102
Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5

(2) The coordinator shall serve as:

(2)(a) an advisor to the governor on homelessness issues; and

(2)(b) subject to Subsection (3), the chief administrative officer of the Office of Homeless Services created in Section 35A-1-202.

(3) The executive director has administrative oversight over the office.
