Terms Used In Utah Code 63J-4-202
- Executive director: means the chief administrative officer of the office, appointed under Section 63J-4-202. See Utah Code 63J-4-102
- Office: means the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget created in Section 63J-4-201. See Utah Code 63J-4-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(1)(a) The governor shall appoint, to serve at the governor’s pleasure:
(1)(a)(i) an executive director of the office; and
(1)(a)(ii) a state homelessness coordinator.
(1)(b) The state homelessness coordinator shall serve as:
(1)(b)(i) an advisor to the governor on homelessness issues; and
(1)(b)(ii) the chief administrative officer of the Office of Homeless Services created in Section 35A-1-202.
(2) The governor shall establish the executive director’s salary within the salary range fixed by the Legislature in Title 67, Chapter 22, State Officer Compensation.
