As used in this part:

(1) “Account” means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Restricted Account created in Section 41-12a-806.

Terms Used In Utah Code 41-12a-802 v2

  • Account: means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Restricted Account created in Section 41-12a-806. See Utah Code 41-12a-802
  • Database: means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Database created in Section 41-12a-803. See Utah Code 41-12a-802
  • Department: means the Department of Public Safety. See Utah Code 41-12a-103
  • Division: means the Driver License Division created in Section 53-3-103. See Utah Code 41-12a-802
  • Motor Vehicle Division: means the Motor Vehicle Division of the State Tax Commission created in Section 41-1a-106. See Utah Code 41-12a-802
  • Program: means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Database Program created in Section 41-12a-803. See Utah Code 41-12a-802
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
  • Street-legal all-terrain vehicle: means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-6a-102. See Utah Code 41-12a-802 v2
(2) “Database” means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Database created in Section 41-12a-803.
(3) “Designated agent” means the third party the department contracts with under Section 41-12a-803.
(4) “Division” means the Driver License Division created in Section 53-3-103.

     (5)(a) “Motor vehicle” has the same meaning as set forth in Section 41-1a-102.
     (5)(b) “Motor vehicle” includes a street-legal all-terrain vehicle.
(6) “Motor Vehicle Division” means the Motor Vehicle Division of the State Tax Commission created in Section 41-1a-106.
(7) “Program” means the Uninsured Motorist Identification Database Program created in Section 41-12a-803.
(8) “Street-legal all-terrain vehicle” means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-6a-102.
