(1) “Autocycle” means the same as that term is defined in Section 53-3-102.

Terms Used In Utah Code 41-21-1

(2) “Motorcycle” means:

     (2)(a) a motor vehicle having a saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground; or
     (2)(b) an autocycle.
(3)

     (3)(a) “Street rod” means a motor vehicle or motorcycle that:

          (3)(a)(i)

               (3)(a)(i)(A) was manufactured in 1948 or before; or
               (3)(a)(i)(B)

                    (3)(a)(i)(B)(I) was manufactured after 1948 to resemble a vehicle that was manufactured in 1948 or before; and
                    (3)(a)(i)(B)(II)

                         (3)(a)(i)(B)(II)(Aa) has been altered from the manufacturer’s original design; or
                         (3)(a)(i)(B)(II)(Bb) has a body constructed from non-original materials; and
          (3)(a)(ii) is primarily a collector’s item that is used for:

               (3)(a)(ii)(A) club activities;
               (3)(a)(ii)(B) exhibitions;
               (3)(a)(ii)(C) tours;
               (3)(a)(ii)(D) parades;
               (3)(a)(ii)(E) occasional transportation; and
               (3)(a)(ii)(F) other similar uses.
     (3)(b) “Street rod” does not include a motor vehicle or motorcycle that is used for general, daily transportation.

     (4)(a) “Vintage travel trailer” means a travel trailer, camping trailer, or fifth wheel trailer that is:

          (4)(a)(i) 30 years old or older, from the current year; and
          (4)(a)(ii) primarily a collector’s item that is used for:

               (4)(a)(ii)(A) participation in club activities;
               (4)(a)(ii)(B) exhibitions;
               (4)(a)(ii)(C) tours;
               (4)(a)(ii)(D) parades;
               (4)(a)(ii)(E) occasional recreational or vacation use; and
               (4)(a)(ii)(F) other similar uses.
     (4)(b) “Vintage travel trailer” does not include a travel trailer, camping trailer, or fifth wheel trailer that is used for the general, daily transportation of persons or property.

     (5)(a) “Vintage vehicle” means a motor vehicle or motorcycle that:

          (5)(a)(i) is 30 years old or older from the current year;
          (5)(a)(ii) displays:

               (5)(a)(ii)(A) a unique vehicle type special group license plate issued in accordance with Section 41-1a-418;
               (5)(a)(ii)(B) for a vehicle that has a model year of 1982 or older, a historical support special group plate; or
               (5)(a)(ii)(C) an original issue license plate in accordance with Section 41-1a-416; and
          (5)(a)(iii) is primarily a collector’s item that is used for:

               (5)(a)(iii)(A) participation in club activities;
               (5)(a)(iii)(B) exhibitions;
               (5)(a)(iii)(C) tours;
               (5)(a)(iii)(D) parades;
               (5)(a)(iii)(E) occasional transportation; and
               (5)(a)(iii)(F) other similar uses.
     (5)(b) “Vintage vehicle” does not include a motor vehicle or motorcycle that is used for general, daily transportation.
     (5)(c) “Vintage vehicle” includes a:

          (5)(c)(i) street rod; and
          (5)(c)(ii) vintage travel trailer.
