(1) A fee set by the division, after notifying the commission, in accordance with Section 63J-1-504 shall be added to the registration fee required to register an off-highway vehicle under Section 41-22-8 to help fund the off-highway vehicle safety and education program.

Terms Used In Utah Code 41-22-33

  • Commission: means the Outdoor Adventure Commission. See Utah Code 41-22-2
  • Division: means the Division of Outdoor Recreation. See Utah Code 41-22-2
  • Off-highway vehicle: means any snowmobile, all-terrain type I vehicle, all-terrain type II vehicle, all-terrain type III vehicle, or motorcycle. See Utah Code 41-22-2
  • Register: means the act of assigning a registration number to an off-highway vehicle. See Utah Code 41-22-2
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(2) If the division modifies the fee under Subsection (1), the modification shall take effect on the first day of the calendar quarter after 90 days from the day on which the division provides the State Tax Commission:

     (2)(a) notice from the division stating that the division will modify the fee; and
     (2)(b) a copy of the fee modification.
