(1) The LEA governing board of a school that has implemented a family outreach program may appoint a family outreach liaison.

- Person: means :(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(2) The general control, supervision, and direct management of a family outreach liaison is vested in the LEA governing board for the school in which the program is implemented.(3) The LEA governing may:(3)(a) make and enforce rules to organize, conduct, and supervise a family outreach liaison;(3)(b) establish the family outreach liaison duties, and fix the family outreach liaison’s compensation;(3)(c) determine the qualifications of a person employed as a family outreach liaison;(3)(d) determine the basis of apportionment and distribute funds made available for the employment of a family outreach liaison; and(3)(e) evaluate the family outreach liaison’s performance annually.
