(1) The term “head of the state licensing board,” as used in Article VII b(1) of the Nurse Licensure Compact in Section 58-31e-102, means an individual who is an ex-officio member of the Board of Nursing created in Section 58-31b-201 and is appointed by the director to serve as the head of the state licensing board for purposes of Article VII b(1) of the Nurse Licensure Compact.

(2) The division may, in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, make rules necessary to implement the provisions of this chapter.
