Terms Used In Utah Code 58-53-303
- Division: means the Division of Professional Licensing created in Section
58-1-103 . See Utah Code 58-1-102 - Licensee: includes any holder of a license, certificate, registration, permit, student card, or apprentice card authorized under this title. See Utah Code 58-1-102
- Person: means :(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5(1)(a) The division shall issue each license under this chapter in accordance with a two-year renewal cycle established by rule.(1)(b) The division may by renewal extend or shorten a license expiration date by as much as one year to stagger the renewal cycles it administers.
(2) Each license automatically expires on the expiration date shown on the license unless renewed by the licensee in accordance with Section 58-1-308 .
(3) Each person holding a current license issued under this chapter shall complete in each period of licensure a program of qualifying continuing professional education in accordance with standards defined by division rule made in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act .
