- Board: means the Landscape Architects Board created in Section
58-53-201 . See Utah Code 58-53-102 - Department: means the Department of Commerce. See Utah Code 58-1-102
- Division: means the Division of Professional Licensing created in Section
58-1-103 . See Utah Code 58-1-102 - Land: includes :(18)(a) land;(18)(b) a tenement;(18)(c) a hereditament;(18)(d) a water right;(18)(e) a possessory right; and(18)(f) a claim. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- Licensee: includes any holder of a license, certificate, registration, permit, student card, or apprentice card authorized under this title. See Utah Code 58-1-102
- Person: means :
(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5- Practice of landscape architecture: means rendering or offering to render any of the following services:
(3)(a) production of a site plan which may include the design of any of the following:(3)(a)(i) sprinkler irrigation systems;(3)(a)(ii) landscape grading and drainage plans; or(3)(a)(iii) parking lots;(3)(b) design of any of the following structures incidental to the production of a site plan:(3)(b)(i) retaining walls; or(3)(b)(ii) raised platforms, decks, and walkways;(3)(c) design of any of the following structures incidental to the production of a site plan when the structure does not exceed 1,000 square feet:(3)(c)(i) covered pavilions;(3)(c)(ii) gazebos;(3)(c)(iii) restrooms;(3)(c)(iv) storage and maintenance facilities; or(3)(c)(v) other accessory structures; or(3)(d) collaboration with architects and professional engineers in the design of roads, bridges, buildings, and structures with respect to the functional and aesthetic requirements of the area in which they are to be placed.
