Terms Used In Utah Code 72-16-202
- Committee: means the Utah Amusement Ride Safety Committee created in Section 72-16-201. See Utah Code 72-16-102
- Director: means the director of the committee, hired under Section 72-16-202. See Utah Code 72-16-102
- Executive director: means the executive director of the department appointed under Section 72-1-202. See Utah Code 72-1-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(1)(a) The executive director, subject to approval by the committee, shall hire a director.
(1)(b) The executive director may remove the director at the executive director’s will.
(2) The director shall:
(2)(a) be experienced in administration and possess additional qualifications as determined by the committee and the executive director; and
(2)(b) receive compensation in accordance with Title 63A, Chapter 17, Utah State Personnel Management Act.
