Utah Code 78B-7-1107. Penalties

Under the Utah Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
class A misdemeanor	up to 364 days	up to $2,500

Protective order: means :
(4)(a) a workplace violence protective order; or
(4)(b) an ex parte workplace violence protective order. See Utah Code 78B-7-1101

A violation of a protective order issued under this part is a class A misdemeanor.
