As used in this part:
(1) “Board of trustees” means the board of trustees of This is the Place Foundation.
Terms Used In Utah Code 79-4-701
- Board of trustees: means the board of trustees of This is the Place Foundation. See Utah Code 79-4-701
- City: includes , depending on population, a metro township as defined in Section
10-3c-102 . See Utah Code 68-3-12.5 - Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Foundation: means This is the Place Foundation, a private nonprofit corporation formed pursuant to
Title 16, Chapter 6a, Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act . See Utah Code 79-4-701 - Member: means a member of the board of trustees. See Utah Code 79-4-701
- Monument: means This is the Place Monument at This is the Place State Park. See Utah Code 79-4-701
- Park: means This is the Place State Park, property owned by the state located at 2601 East Sunnyside Avenue, Salt Lake City. See Utah Code 79-4-701
- Property: includes both real and personal property. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes a state, district, or territory of the United States. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
(2) “Foundation” means This is the Place Foundation, a private nonprofit corporation formed pursuant to Title 16, Chapter 6a, Utah Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act .
(3) “Member” means a member of the board of trustees.
(4) “Monument” means This is the Place Monument at This is the Place State Park.
(5) “Park” means This is the Place State Park, property owned by the state located at 2601 East Sunnyside Avenue, Salt Lake City.
