(1) There is created an expendable special revenue fund known as the “Utah Children’s Outdoor Recreation and Education Fund,” which the division shall use to fund the Utah Children’s Outdoor Recreation and Education Grant Program created in Section 79-8-302.
Terms Used In Utah Code 79-8-304
- Advisory committee: means the Utah Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Advisory Committee created in Section 79-7-206. See Utah Code 79-8-102
- Division: means the Division of Outdoor Recreation. See Utah Code 79-8-102
(2) The fund consists of:
(2)(a) appropriations made by the Legislature;
(2)(b) interest earned on the account; and
(2)(c) private donations, grants, gifts, bequests, or money made available from any other source to implement this part.
(3) The division shall, with the advice of the advisory committee, administer the fund.
(4) The cost of administering the fund shall be paid from money in the fund.
(5) Interest accrued from investment of money in the fund shall remain in the fund.
