- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: shall include any natural person, corporation, municipality, the State of Vermont or any department, agency, or subdivision of the State, and any partnership, unincorporated association, or other legal entity. See
§ 1732. Penalties
A person, firm, or corporation who violates a provision of section 1731 of this title shall be assessed an administrative penalty under section 15 of this title. (Amended 1981, No. 223 (Adj. Sess.), § 23; 2017, No. 30, § 6.)
