The Commissioner is authorized to adopt regulations for the administration of this article which shall, among other things, provide for the acquisition and disposition of the vending stand and other business enterprise equipment and other assets used in the operations pursuant to this article.

Terms Used In Virginia Code 51.5-95

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Business enterprise: means any business other than a vending stand. See Virginia Code 51.5-60
  • Commissioner: means the Commissioner of the Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired. See Virginia Code 51.5-60
  • Vending stand: means an installation in any public or private building for the sale of newspapers, periodicals, confections, tobacco products, soft drinks, ice cream, wrapped foods and such other articles as may be approved by the custodian thereof and the Department. See Virginia Code 51.5-60
